Johnny began his journey in the electrical trade as an apprentice at IEC Gulf Coast, where he developed the technical knowledge, discipline, and hands-on skills that would become the foundation of his professional career. His educational background also includes studies at San Jacinto College and Stephen F. Austin State University, further strengthening his commitment to professional development and lifelong learning.

In 1994, Johnny founded Lighthouse Electric, establishing a business built on quality workmanship, integrity, reliability, and customer satisfaction. More than three decades later, he continues to own and operate Lighthouse Electric, bringing his extensive industry knowledge and leadership to every aspect of the business.

Beyond his accomplishments as an electrical contractor, Johnny has discovered a profound passion for education and mentorship. He currently serves as an electrical instructor at WorkTexas Training Center in Houston, Texas, and Lamar Technical Institute, where he shares his real-world experience and technical expertise with aspiring electricians.
